Into the Spiderverse!AU

Izuku Midoriya is a normal kid. He’s just got into a famous junior high, U.A. It’s frustrating and he hates it just a bit even though it’s such a good chance to be more. His mom is happy for him. So’s his dad even though it’s through text messages.

But Izuku just wants to be a small town guy, helping people here or there.

Kind of hard while being at an elite school.

At least he’s met someone, even though he’s blonde and growl-y and he accidentally called him Kacchan instead of his name but yanno…  progress?

He also admires All Might, a masked vigilante who helps people all over the city! If he can be just a tenth as epic, Izuku would be happy. His mother frets and father sends him disapproving texts… so he helps in small ways. Helping the elderly get groceries, walking dogs…

And working at a soup kitchen. Sure he has homework, but Izuku will sacrifice sleep to help people. His homework can be done at 2am again.

He gets bit by a spider when he’s locking up but brushes it off and heads to campus for the night.
