Bakustatsukotori dies in middle school

Bakustatsukotori died while they were in junior high and Izuku was the only one he invited to his bird’s funeral.

Bakugou hoped the damn bird was happy, he let that Deku cry all over him as the nerd mourned the bird.

(What Katsuki wouldn’t admit to is that there were tears in his eyes too. Not like he would let the nerd know)

After moving into the dorms, Izuku came up to Katsuki one day and asked if it was all right if he had a small memorial for Bakustatsukotori. Obviously Bakugou said no… but Midoriya could come up to his room to see the one Katsuki had set up but only on the anniversary of the bird’s death! It’s not like the nerd can come by whenever he felt like it!
