“Shouto! (Laughter) It’s the thought of it!”
“Plus, what if our friends got a new number? Or if someone is contacting us in their stead or-” Beep!

“Ah we really need to change that recording message. Izuku, Shouto! I’m sorry, I haven’t purchased eggs yet. I’ll pick some up on my way home, so in the meantime, just have cereal for breakfast. Have a good day!”

“Ah! Shouto, Tenya! I’ll be late tonight – there’s an issue at work and-“
“Deku get your ass over here and stop mooning on your phone!”
“Ack gotta go, Kavvhan needs me – Coming Ground Zero! Shi-“

“You’ve reached the -” Beep!

“Hey Prep School, it’s me – would have called your cell but you never gave me your number after you got a new because of that shitty stalker. Anyways, I’m with Icy-hot and Deku at Dagobah General. We’re okay mostly – Icy Hot’s got a concussion, and I’m sitting with him. Deku’s still in the OR but he should be fine – you know how he gets when one of you nerds are hurt. Clean yourself up and get over here when you can.”

Tenya hated their car – it was compact, barely had room for his legs, and always left him feeling cramped – but it was the best option to bring his lovers home. Their motorcycles wouldn’t fit the three of them and, while Tenya wished he could just Reciprico Burst to their side, but that would be… fairly illegal. And it wouldn’t be a comfortable trip back to their home.

But it got him to the hospital in one piece and Tenya was able to power walk through the reception. After showing his hero license, he was directed towards Shouto’s room.

“I can’t believe,” there was a wheezing laugh behind the door, “you thought that was a solid fashion choice.” There was a response, too low for Tenya to hear properly, and then “You leave my pants out of this!”

Tenya opened the door to Shouto laid up in a bed with gauze wrapped around his head, Bakugou sitting backwards in the single, uncomfortable chair, talking to

“Ah look, it’s your prince on engines,” Bakugou said with a cocky smile, “I’ll leave you to him and look at Prince Dorkling. He should be out of the OR so I’ll be able to tell you nerds soon.” The blond stood up, turned the chair around and headed out the door.

“Thank you, Bakugou. I’ll get you my new number when you come back.”

Tenya received a wave in response. Before he could even ask, Shouto explained what happened – the Wonder Duo was talking down a group of quirk taking thieves, one of whom had an ice quirk that Shouto was called in to help deal with. During the altercation, he had gone down hard from an attack – resulting in his concussion – and Izuku taken several injuries keeping him safe, resulting in some (relatively) minor surgery.

“All in all,” Shouto says at the end, “a fairly standard day.”

Tenya rolled his eyes – “It really shouldn’t be with you three!”
