They show their love in little ways – in breakfast bars left near the door to make sure everyone has something i n their stomach when they’re leaving quickly, in umbrellas being placed into bags just in case in rains, in playful arguments on who gets to stay on Shouto’s left in the winter and his right in the summer, in making sure there’s always orange juice stocked in the fridge for Tenya (and the occasional bottle of Ramune pushed to the back), in worried looks and forced days off to let Izuku recuperate after a nasty fight.

It’s unconventional to most, some might say it’s even wrong (but how can loving someone, someones, ever be wrong? When the sight of one makes their heart flutter, but the sight of both makes it soar, makes you believe you can do anything?), but they have (eventually, through time and patience) learned to ignore it. Who cares if some tabloid writer wants to post trash and libel, or some fan thinks they each would be better with someone else as a partner – they know and those who they care about know and support them, and that’s enough.

For them, love isn’t all grand gestures, explosive shows of affection (although they have them, and sometimes they get competitive to see who can one up the others for their anniversary), they’re happy enough to curl all together on a rare day off, sipping coffee and watching rain fall outside their window.
